Hey so, what the fuck is up with Shilo and Emizel?

Like yeah, they're brothers. Confirmed twins by Condi. How???

It's been made pretty clear that Shilo is half human, or at least in those kinds of vibes. There is never once a mention of his turning, he seems pretty clueless on humans, he has aged to his current age. But then he can also somewhat digest food, and his aura looks like a human aura. Yeah, that's all good, checks out.

What about Emizel? It is very hinted at, if not stated that Jeffrey is not his real father, but that he found or adopted him when he was still a baby. If Emizel is half vampire like Shilo, wouldn't he show that? He would, yeah, at least a bit. But he hasn't.

Even if takes more human traits, like Shilo takes more vampires traits. But he hasn't. There are no vampire traits. He's not faster, not stronger, doesn't have enhanced senses. I'm sure he would've noticed by now if he could do some mind shit or thought that blood looked particularily yummy. Even appearance wise, while we don't know exactly what he looked like, it is said that he is going through the vampire transition, becoming paler, getting fangs, pointy ears, red eyes. That is changing, he did not have that before. He looked like a human, he acted like a human.

The only time when he's human that he acts vampiric is when they say that "in the streetlight, it's almost like your eyes glow red" (not a direct quote, AT ALL, pulled from my ass and memore) but that is in reference to the all of the Demons. The whole gang have symbolism in their eyes.

The other time is when Emizel has been bitten and has the urge to bite his soon-to-be-sire back. There is something urging him to bite the guy. But that isn't necessarily a vampire thing. Vampires don't really bite other vampires. And for all we know, maybe there's some dying instinct that recognizes that vampire blood could save your life if you've been bitten. Or hell, Emizel just seems like he's kinda just like that. It does not seem out of character for his last dying action to be to bite someone.

So like, wtf? Why is Shilo half vampire and Emizel not?

I still think that the queen is their mom. I don't think she'd give a shit about Shilo if he weren't her son. And Emizel seems like the one she's keeping tabs on.

So here's my Lil theory. It was mentioned that vampires could briefly turn humans to eat shit. Now I don't know the vampire masquerade mechanics or shit, but it seems to me like maybe that could aply to more than just eating food. So like, maybe miss Queen Vampire wanted a night on the town, or hell, maybe she wanted a kid. So she got it on with some human, maybe Jeffrey, maybe not.

Gurl gets pregnant, but oops, it's twins. And when they're born, after a bit it's achingly clear one of them is more human than the other. Turns out, maybe doing the do while human fucked shit up a bit, so while the kids could carry vampire genes, they also could not at all. In fact it was probably more likely for the kid to not be a vampire at all.

So now her Majesty has two sons. One who looks like a vampire, one who doesn't. She's worried about both of them because they are at the very least half human and humans tend to die easily. She says "Hey, I'll give it time, maybe Emizel will just take time to be more vampire like, it's possible it's not an instantaneous thing"

She waits. Shilo is clearly a vampire. He drinks blood, he has little fangs, his eyes are red. Emizel, decidedly does and is not. After a few months, it becomes clear that Emizel is not a vampire. Fuck. What do they do?

Her council (or whatever the fuck they are) suggest to just kill Emizel, he's human, besides she already has one son, why need another? Miss Her Majesty is like "I dealt with too much morning sickness to get kill this kid". So maybe out of suggestion of the council, maybe out of fear for his life, she decides to ship baby Emizel off the LA without telling anyone. There he can grow up with humans and live a human life and not be as in danger as in the castle. Besides, she can just keep tabs on him so that if he does end up being half vampire she can scoop him up and plop him with his brother.

At least that's what I think. It's possible that Emizel is just built different.

What are y’all’s thoughts on Crimson from HB?? Like obviously he’a a piece of shit, but there is literally so much potential for dark content my mind is BUZZING

SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT

THE FIRST ONE: The reader is Moxxie’s little sister. When Moxxie goes to jail and chooses to stay away from his hometown and family, he forgets one thing--his little sister.     Ever since Moxxie left, Crimson has been telling reader how much Moxxie hates her, how much he hates the family, how much he wanted to get away from her.

    So, reasonably, the reader grows to resent Moxxie. Occasionally, she’ll think about what life outside of the mansion is like. She’ll remember how Moxxie treated her, how he made sure she was never around for Crimson’s fits, and wonder if he doesn’t actually hate her.

    Crimson has gotten good at spotting when this happens: she’s less willing to listen to his commands, she’s always spacing out, and always looking at Moxxie’s empty room. He’s always quick to snip that hesitance in the bud and warp her perspective of her dear older brother. She’s always been a daddy’s girl (and hasn’t really had a taste of a healthy relationship), so she believes him.

    When the IMP is called over to the mansion, Crimson doesn’t tell the reader that Moxxie is there. He is fiercely protective of her and knows Moxxie would try to save her.

    Crimson’s reason for inviting Moxxie doesn’t change. He wants Moxxie to marry Chazwick. However, this time, Crimson does have a back-up plan: if Crimson is unable to marry Chazwick, for whatever reason, the reader will marry him instead.

    I haven’t quite decided how Moxxie and the reader will reunite, but I don’t want it to be too soon. Maybe she’s attracted to the commotion Millie causes and enters the wedding and barely sees Moxxie before he’s swooped off.

THE SECOND IDEA: The reader is Moxxie’s mother and Crimson’s wife. She basically replaces the actual character. Unfortunately for her, she has a bit of a savior complex so she aims to try and help Crimson’s state of mind.

    They met before Moxxie was conceived. Her family is a part of a smaller chain of the mafia and basically relies on the (wtf is their last name??) family to keep their connections and stay out of debt.

    The reader’s and Crimsons’ marriage was arranged. It was decided since before they were born that the oldest of their families, which happened to be them, would wed and have an heir.

    Unfortunately for the reader, both families have a pretty sexist point of view. They believe the women should serve their husbands and make sure the children are spoken for. Among the long list of no-no’s, she isn’t allowed to raise a fist to Crimson. She hasn’t been taught basic self defense to ensure she doesn’t break this rule.

    At first, Crimson is very clear about his hatred for her. Though, since he’s so adamant about not disrespecting the family, he only expresses it when they’re behind closed doors.

    The reader still tries despite how he treats her. She’s determined to live a normal life, and if that means risking it to get closer to Crimson, so be it. It’s all or nothing.

    The reader’s story is a bit like the ugly duckling. Until her mid-teen years, she has no idea how to dress, pose, or look flattering at all. Crimson continues to be rude and unforgiving until she gets her glow-up.

    That’s when he starts to notice her more. How she doesn’t raise her voice at him no matter what he does to pester her, how she somehow finds a reason to forgive him despite everything, how her boobs have grown since they were kids--

    Yeah, he pretty much jumps her bones whenever he gets the opportunity. Moxxie is born and the reader stops trying to please Crimson 24/7 to take care and nurture Moxxie.

That’s about as far as I got on that...

I do wanna write these, but I’m not sure how big the Crimson Simps(TM) sections will go considering he’s a douche bag

"Dry your eyes Corlys," Rhaenys spoke up first, it had been only a day since the engagement to Alicent was arranged yet Corlys already looked like a sad child who dropped his ice cream. It was four of them, on a table. Laena, Laenor, and the lord and lady of Driftmark. It had been silently all night long, truth be told, Prince Laenor secretly sympathised with Alicent, understanding her sadness of not being able to be with the one you love; but he was shocked to actually hear she was getting what she wanted, a marriage to Rhaegar. Don't get him wrong, Laenor loves and adores his sister, Laena. But many forget Rhaegar was also his playmate for a while, they were practically brothers, Laenor had truly began to trust him when they were around 13; Laenor had been with his secret boyfriend, Joffrey. Rhaegar had caught them, but unlike most who would have reported this instantly, Rhaegar kept his mouth shut, and let them be.

Laena felt crushed, but not entirely heartbroken. She had her eyes on another in preparation for this; she was always very clever, and while she definitely wanted to be queen, she would settle for a princess.

Rhea Royce had been reported dead, dead as a door nail, no love lost there. This means Daemon will need a new wife, so why not her? Though I'm sure she'd have to wait a good 4 years to even be considered a candidate for his next wife.

“He does not speak a word to me.” Alicent remarked, her brother, Gwayne gave her a look of sympathy before again searching for their mother’s jewels. Otto had requested Alicent wear her mother’s wedding jewellery; hence why Gwayne and her were now searching their mothers bed chambers whilst all the other valets and servants alike were preparing everything for the celebration banquet and their long journey to Kings Landing. “What makes you think so?” Gwayne questioned after haven taken a moment of silence, Alicent snapped her head around whilst looking under a few pillows. “He spends all his time mounting Syrax and the rest elsewhere..” she paused, Gwayne immediately looked up in confusion. “Elsewhere?” He questioned, he stopped searching and stepped closer to his sister. “You don’t seriously think he may-?” Gwayne was immediately cut off, “I don’t want to believe it, out of respect for his mother and myself I don’t believe he ever stepped foot into a brothel.” She stated, “What about yourself?” Alicent tensed up. “I am pure, I assure you.” He combatted back at her.

“Finally!” He beamed, holding up a golden necklace adorned with the most precious sapphires. “You will look like a true queen with these worn.” Gwayne smiled, Alicent gave a small grin as her fear of Rhaegar’s neglect had startled her still. Just as Gwayne was ready to give some brotherly advice, he was interrupted by an opening door. “What’s taking you so long?!” Said a lower voice, it was their older brother, Gerald. “The carriage is ready!” He complained, Gwayne rolled his eyes but Gerald continued on. “Ormund is already there, but could you make some haste we have a wedding.” Alicent always thought Gerald a drama queen, and in truth he was. Even Ormund, Father and Gwayne thought so. But still they both hurried along.

“It better be a quick wedding, I hear Kings Landings smells of shit, and that’s its better days.” Gerald uttered, Ormund gave him a stern look as he titled his head, referencing the two younger siblings. “I’ll mind my manners when we get there, so you can ignore me.” Gerald argued, the carriage was bumpy. They were probably nearly there. Alicent wasn’t impressed, she’d only been there less than a fortnight ago. But she was sure Gwayne would act surprised like he’d never been before. A small part of her hoped one of them would fight for her honour and take her home, but she couldn’t stand the thought of Rhaegar or one of her brothers getting hurt or worse, dying. So she buried that thought, the same she did her freedom.

“Rhaegar, it’s time we spoke.” The prince’s father called out to him, he was sat on his bed and excepting some peace with a book until that all went down the drain quickly. “Don’t talk to me of my wedding night, I know how the act is done.” Rhaegar immediately retaliated, so sure that’s what his father was going to lecture him on. His face turned into a frown as he reclined next to his son, he spoke up again, “Rhaegar, have you written to your soon to be Lady-Wife?” He asked, meeting his son’s gaze. “I have doomed her, I am the last person she wants to hear from.” Rhaegar assured, Viserys still wasn’t convinced and continued. “Do you not believe perhaps Alicent would feel more secure if you were to write to her?” Rhaegar closed his book with a loud thud, he sighed and meet his father’s eyes. “I’m sure Uncle Daemon will love this.” Rhaegar breathed, Viserys think he knew what Rhaegar was trying to communicate. “If this is to be a loveless, childless, marriage that just puts him on the throne after I’m out the way.” Rhaegar stated, “This doesn’t have to be a loveless marriage, it’s only loveless if you make no effort Rhaegar, don’t focus on what your tactless uncle is up to, focus on yourself.” He declared, Though he wasn’t sure what he could do to possibly aid the young couple, thank the good faith of the Seven for Laenor Velaryon.

“It is aggravating, Laenor.” Rhaegar muttered, he and his cousin were strolling the castle gardens; a day before the wedding. It was safe to say Laenor wasn’t appreciative of being dragged out of bed after a long journey from Driftmark, though it wasn’t like Rhaegar could confide in Alicent anymore or Laena for that matter. He was surprised Laenor even agreed after he practically embarrassed his sister in front of an entire court of people after choosing Alicent over her. At least that’s what people said, in truth there was no competition. Rhaegar’s father had given mediocre advice at best, so instead he blabbered to his cousin of his insecurities and inability to talk to Alicent.

“Out of everyone you choose me for advice?” Laenor looked flabbergasted and that’s to say the least. “I know nothing of your situation and I wouldn’t dream to know.” Rhaegar looked like a sad puppy, though wasn’t sure what he was excepting anyway; as if Laenor would understand his problem. “But..your father hasn’t given such bad advice you know?” Laenor reminded, Rhaegar rolled his eyes and picked a flower from a nearby bush. “I’m serious Rhaegar! put in some effort and maybe you can salvage this already tasteless engagement.” Rhaegar’s ears spiked, though in the inside he knew Laenor was right. “What if she-“ the prince was restricted, “What if this! What if that! It doesn’t matter, after tomorrow it won’t, all the weight is on the husband, if you won’t try- well then I can’t believe that you of all people should deal such cruelty.” Rhaegar was taken back by Laenor’s speech, nobody had ever dared to speak to him like that let alone lecture him, though maybe he did need a refresher. “Thanks cousin..shall we return for breakfast?” “Definitely, and we’re still gonna race around with Syrax and Seasmoke right?” “Of course.” “Just because I wanna spend some time with you until you’re bound forever,,” “I know Laenor, we will.”

Alicent had awoke, and she immediately started to bite at her own nails at the thought of tonight. A maid had opened her curtains, revealing a moderately grey sky but still with oddly comforting rain to match or rather not match. But regardless seeing Syrax fly not so far away from her window have her some memories of Rhaegar and herself. When they were younger Rhaegar promised Alicent they’d visit Valyria and stuff their mouths with cake. Truth is she’d hoped that Rhaegar was passing by to take her away, from all this mess of a wedding and scheming of her father. Though of course it would just be her, him and Laenor; seeing as though the two boys had been flying all morning, rather to her annoyance.

But she was more nervous about their wedding night, the kissing part was okay. So okay in fact, Alicent recalled the time when Rhaegar and her saw Aemma and Viserys shared a kiss together in front of them, the Hightowers were there dinner party guests for the night; and Rhaegar was so curious about the kiss he had asked Alicent to help him imitate it after dinner was over, she agreed, getting all red at the thought of kissing a prince. (especially a prince like Rhaegar) Yes they were young and did both stick their tongues out in disgust after the kiss, but to be honest she knew the truth. She’s always loved him, but right now she wasn’t sure if he loved her back. He dealt her such cruelty as to not speak to her, Alicent would have preferred it if he had just gotten it over with, shattered her heart and said he felt nothing for her. But she wanted hope, for the sake of the kingdom she needs hope.

His coronation crown also present, pieces of armour were incorporated as well as chain mail. Though Rhaegar thought he’d be the best looking gentleman, he of course was outdone by Laenor in his rich blues.

“No.” Rhaegar said, “but I have to try at least.” A kingsguard swiftly entered the room a few moments later, “The lady is about to walk my prince, you presence is needed.” He explained, Rhaegar let out a huff and began again “Shall we go?”

Hii, I'm back. First off, I'm sorry about the request I send yesterday, I think? I didn't see the 'angst' under the 'don't do' 😭 🙇‍♀️but I'm back with a rant (I should pay you rent for staying in your asks this much- I can pay it with kaldo drawings 😭)

I recently checked the sons' ages and well- Doom, Fanim, Epidem and Delisaster were born with only 1 year of difference (also, the whole family was born of 11th of something- Innocent zero was a weird guy. He even shares birthday with Mash lol) and knowing that a pregnancy lasts 9 months there would be 4 months of non-pregnancy state with each of the 4 first sons (I calculated it- I needed to know if it was actually possible to pop out 4 kids in 4 years like that). Yes, they literally were born Doom-January, Fanim-February, Epidem-March and Delisaster-April (Domina was born in May, but Mash wanted to be different and was born in November 😭). There is a problem, Mash and Domina were born the same year, less than 9 months in between their birthdays. To which I can only find the excuses that, again, Mash wanted to be different and decided that he would be born premature lol (or they just speed up his birth, if mother was getting ill or her health was going down). Also, I checked how much each kid weights and I'm pretty sure Innocent zero starved them- BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN DOOM (who's 2 meters tall) WEIGHT ONLY 88KG??? THAT MF IS HUGE😭 My older brother (who's 25, 5 years younger than Doom, apparently) is like 1,80m and he weights 110kg😭 Domina (who's 1,76,i think) weights 68kg (that's around my weight, I'm 1,65± and 15 y/o). So, knowing that information I want to add that after mother fell into a coma, Innocent zero had more power over the sons so he starved them (bc before it was impossible. If they told mother that they wanted to eat, or even if they didn't, she gave them food and made sure they ate at least 3 times a day. Since she suffered a lot from starvation herself and almost every family member (all of her three brothers and her mom) died due to starvation), and it would also explain why tf Delisaster has such a thin waist.

It's also possible that, instead of her bearing the children in her womb, they just decided to mix their DNAs in an incubator of some sort. Innocent zero would say something that it wasn't necessary for her to bear them and that it wouldn't benefit neither of them, since he doesn't want for a strong ally to be unable to work for over 9 months and he read that it pregnancy can affect her health (again, that means that his ally will be weaker than before (imagine his reaction when she randomly falls into a coma after mash's 'birth'- and doesn't wake up for a long time). And mother would also prefer it by just mixing the DNAs (✨trauma✨, and probably not liking physical touch?). I'm also sure that after some time, Innocent zero would put some spell on mother just to keep her in the coma (let's say her necklaces worked only around itself and since it didn't cause any actual damage they weren't activated) so that he can manipulate the sons more. I also imagine them visiting her, maybe on their own birthdays or her birthday or just randomly showing up to check on her idk.

I also imagine that when Innocent zero is defeated by Mash and mother wakes up and gets context of everything that happened during her 'absence' (she really didn't care if the realm was destroyed since they didn't care about neither her or those similar to her), she would be mad with both Wahlberg and the divine visionaries (even though she didn't like the realm, she had some respect for Wahlberg when they were young bc he had good ambitions and she expected for him to at least try to make them reality) bc "what do you mean after 100 years the law against lackmagic is the fucking same and nothing changed? And then you dump it all onto a 15 y/o boy? Wtf" She would 100% slap Wahlberg in his face (and it's a good one, after all the sons didn't get the physical abilities from their father lol) and say that if they don't change things soon, she won't hesitate to start a revolution. I also don't know how would Mash react to his biological mother appearing out of nowhere. They would probably have a talk, at least and she would say that she won't interfere in his life unless he wants to and that he should contact Domina if he wants to talk with her or needs something from her, since she doesn't have a phone bc she was in a coma.

Also, after Innocent zero is defeated, I'm sure that the castle doesn't fall down, so as she wakes up she goes through it and sees all of her sons (or their remains) dead (Except Doom, since he did live after the battle with Mash) and she doesn't know the cause of it yet, but when she sees the 'arrows' that attacked Domina she would get the puzzle together that Innocent zero have killed at least one of her sons (she couldn't care less about the realm, but won't hesitate to hurt someone tenfold if they hurt her sons in the slightest), he would have had hurried to hunt that mf down, but tending to Doom's injuries is more of a priority at that time.

I love seeing people compare music to their favourite characters and go like 'oh yeah this verse might be this character... and then this one is the other one... and then this little bit here is them both honestly. Or something like that' because I HAVE gone through every taylor swift song on evermore and folklore and compared it to skk. Part 7 might just be my favorite part by far.

I'm so happy the rest results were negative. And Good for Mr. Gojo getting ride of the Wicked Witch. Also I'm laughing at Naomi and her suffering, she deserves it but curious about what's going on with her family and why they moved around so much.

Oh and WTF Toji WTF. You can't go behind your girlfriend's back and talk to her baby daddy to make yourself feel better and because you think it best for her and daughter. You just need to worry about your own kid and communicate your issues with Satoru still being love with Y/N better and let her decide what's best for herself and Yui.

Anyways (dramaticly put on a tinfoil hat) I have theory that I know you won't answer if it true or not because it would spoil the spice and the drama but:

I have this feeling the Toji's mother is Mr. Gojo ex-wife which would make Toji and Satoru half-brothers (talk about Y/N having a type).

Mention Satoru's older brother so much in this part and I can just feel were be meet him soon (if my theory is wrong) and also his mom.

You also mentioned Toji's mom a few times as well which caused me to draw the connection.

Also it's not like anyone would really make the connection because if Satoru and his brother ever met it would have been when he really little so he wouldn't know what his brother looks like and brother probably wouldn't recognize him. Though I guess Mr. Gojo could be curious about why his first born and Y/N's boyfriend share a first name but he'd just chalk it up to a coincidence because different last names (I'm assuming Toji last name is Fushiguro but maybe it Zenin in this I can't remember you ever stating it)

Iida was either with todoroki or ochako or even sero at times but i hated any ships with sero because that guy looked ugly af

Mina and kirishima WAS a thing but ppl kinda just saw them more as siblings which is the same with denki and mina

Momojirou was popular and still kinda today

Todomomo was also popular and was seen as a more "safe" or "normal" option since ppl were highly obsessed with gay ships so they wanted smth more "normal and "safe" because they also followed the logic of: "everyone needs to be shipped with someone" and if u ship bkdk or kiribaku todoroki would either be with deku or iida

Shigadabi and dabihawks [ESPECIALLY THIS] was popular

Why dabihawks even though dabi's a villain and hawks is a hero: people liked the 'childhood friends au' where hawks would meet touya [dabi's name before he became a villain] after he ran away and they would be friends

Background once again: Hawks was born to criminal parents but he had a really powerful ability so the government was like "yo kid u wanna become a hero? Come with us" type of stuff so hawks wanted to become a hero because of endeavor [his fave hero AND touya's dad]

[Note: hawk's quirk is having giant wings BUT he can control each feather separately so he can save people while also fighting in battle which is how he earned the title of "fastest pro hero"]

Background for touya's part: touya is the eldest siblings of 4 and basically his dad wanted a child with BOTH fire and ice powers [endeavor has fire and rei the mom has ice] and touya only had fire BUT his fire was stronger than endeavor was the dad was like yknow what im satisfied with this.

But endeavor didnt want to stop trying and rei also agreed that giving touya siblings is a great idea [YALL DONT BLAME THE MOM SHE DIDNT KNOW THIS WOULD TURN OUT ABUSIVE ALRIGHT] so fuyumi and natsuo the next two kids only had ice THEN shouto was born who had both powers endeavor wanted so of course he neglected touya's training and focused on shouto instead. So, touya got jealous as he should be since he really did admire his father and wanted to be a hero like him but yknow he was discarded, so one day he wanted to show his dad how powerful he can be so he told his dad "yo come to this mountain u always train at" dad never came and touya lost control of his ability so he allegedly "burned to death with his bones turning to ash and only a part of his jawbone being found" [note: touya also got rei's sensitive and fragile skin which is why touya's body can literally overheat and burn]

It was later revealed that AFO saved touya and patched up his skin.

So u can see the part where it diverges from canon for dabihawks to be a ship + the fact that dabi joins the LOV [league of villains] and hawks joined as a spy

Now why did this ship die down?? The plw [paranormal liberation war] arc happened and along with the heros attacking in the next part, dabi burned down hawk's wings and its even stated that he was never able to fully recover to his "full glory”

Didn't you say something once about how Tory should've initiated the apologies in s6 before Sam's apologies, rather than the other way around (as it ultimately happened)? On account of the fact that although Sam definitely got the ball rolling with the accusations about the wallet theft, Tory's the one who took things too far and the rivalry was largely a pretty one-sided "Tory instigates while Sam reacts" feud for most of its run? (And while we do see Sam swallow her pride and admit she was out of line and should've apologized sooner, I feel like the writers kinda forgot that based on how they wrote Tory, even if Sam had apologized, Tory wouldn't have accepted the apology because she'd already decided she hated Sam.)

Yes I did say that, and it's something that still rankles—although Sam initiated things, Tory escalated them, and I wish Tory had apologized first. However, I also stated here and here that despite my disappointment about that aspect specifically, the show's handling of this pleasantly surprised me regardless.

See, I found their resolution in s5 much more unsatisfying. Sam expressed regret, an apology of sorts, but Tory didn't reciprocate at all, no apology in sight. In s6, although she didn't apologize first, she still took full responsibility for what she did, literally said she took things too far, and frankly, that's more than I expected from this show. It was a pleasant surprise.

And as others have noted, it's in both Sam and Tory's characters for Sam to apologize first and Tory to reciprocate. This still doesn't totally satisfy me, but I see their point.

I disagree that their arc was written in an OOC way—s3 alludes to Tory's regret, and s4 starts showing it, with Tory only retaliating because Sam is (very understandably) still on the offensive with her. Though I think the turning point for Tory is winning the tournament illegally (especially hurting Sam to do it—she regrets that and tries to check on her). From that point forward, in s5, we see her hatred for Sam ebb away, with only hollow regret remaining. We see her try to tell Sam about the rigged tournament, she doesn't pick any fights with Sam, and she teams up with Sam at the end. And from there, s6 flowing into their friendship and building that trust is a logical progression.

Tory has regretted what she did to Sam's arm...she just didn't feel like she could say it before because the later part of s3 writes her strangely (literally why did she break into Sam's house??), Sam hates her in s4 and won't let her apologize (again, understandable—she's still traumatized), and when Sam finally does approach her in s5, there's an enemy to fight: Silver. And s6...well, the two of them clearly want to move forward and not reopen old wounds—Tory should've said something, but she clearly doesn't want to trigger or upset Sam by reminding her of that time, wants to show by example instead of words that she's sorry. The events of the sleepover (unintentionally, on Johnny's part) finally let them express how they feel and give each other true closure—and from there, true friendship is born.

Again, I still don't like that Tory apologized after Sam, and I'll always be kinda bitter about that, but I don't think their arc was really OOC (apart from late s3, literally wtf was that), and I see what people mean when they say it's true to her character. And I do quite like how the show developed their friendship in this season.

Warnings: Fluff, technical cheating? Abigail leaves John - John is like “wtf is going on”, per request John is not hurt that much - Just in shock, best friends to lovers.

In her own way, Abigail has always been really proud of you. You have never backed down from anyone despite being a woman yourself- And tend to take on the “manlier” missions to prove the men wrong. She looked up to you- Especially since you were there the year John left the gang.

It was tough on her, but you were her rock and best friend.

It was one of the reasons why she did not think much about Sadie also taking on a more masculine role. It was more fitting, and she loved how you and Sadie stood up for the women of the group- It was refreshing.

She could tell you everything- All her worries, even those she was too afraid to tell Hosea or Arthur. She confidently told you because you just listened. You did not offer advice unless she asked and you while everyone was rather careful with their words to avoid her wrath when it comes to the truth- You are blunt.

That is why she never really thought of you as a partner- Not until now when she asked for advice after seeing John, completely drunk, asking Karen to hook up. Thankfully, the latter had enough respect for Abigail and told John to basically fuck off.

Abigail had unfortunately overheard this encounter- But instead of her usual anger she felt towards John, she felt rather… Defeated.

Thus, making her come to you and this time instead of venting, asking for advice on what she should do. How to stop making a man who is too hesitant to her and somehow still denying Jack- Love them? How can she stop loving him despite all the pain he keeps causing her?

She thought she was going to lose him up in that mountain- She truly was grateful he was brought back alive but now… It feels like something did die back up there.

So now- She stares into your serious gaze and feels a bit nervous at your thoughts. You were not going to sugar-coat anything, and it truly was one of those traits she adores from you.

However, the first words that fly out of your mouth leave her in shock.

“You deserve better,” You state.

You go silent again and she processes what you say- Trying to fight off the anger and need to defend John because you are her best friend and she asked her for advice. She will listen to it with an open heart. You let out a sigh and look to be contemplating something.

Then finally you continue, “Listen- Abby. You deserve so much better. I know the love you have for John is strong and I can see as clear as day that he loves you too, in his own slightly fucked up way, but in the end, what you need is someone who will be there for you always. You not only have yourself to think of but you have Jack. I respect John I do but he is a shit father- He has been avoiding that boy since he was born- He even went out of his way to leave for a whole year. He is still pushing him away. I do not know what to tell you about that but for Jack’s sake, you need to figure out if you want that indecisive man to be in your life… Or-“

You stop talking making her serious expression urge you on. You do after you sigh.

“Or I can help you. Jack can’t have this life forever and he should get a shot at a normal life. We can leave the gang for good, I am already a pretty decent shot- I can get a job as a hunter or whatever, maybe even a bounty hunter, it doesn’t matter to me but I will help you get a beautiful home. I will help you whether that means just as best friends, Jack’s second mom, or even as a lover to you- You name it and I will do it,” You state.

Abigail pauses. Her expression falls as she processes your words and then she realizes that you technically confessed to her. That you have a thing for her. This brutally honest confession is opening up her eyes.

“Listen, forget I said anything about the lover part. I did not mean to make it weird. I will give you time to think about it and just know I did mean the last part. I will do whatever you name,” You say.

No- Abigail does not need time. She has not felt her heart race like this since she first fell for John. She can feel the honesty in your voice and to be honest- She did not think a fellow woman could be her lover but hearing you say it?

It is clicking into place. You have been there since Jack was born. You comforted her when John left- You have always been her rock- Her best friend. Maybe you were destined to be her lover? Open up her eyes and be there for her and Jack since John painfully does not want to.

“Let’s go then. Right now as lovers. I will go back up Jack’s things,” Abigail states seriously.

You raise an eyebrow and before you ask if she is sure- She nods her head. “Right now. I am going to explain to at least Arthur and Hosea since they care about Jack and I.”

“Alrighty- I will pack up the horses,” You say a smile on your face.

Your heart races and you feel… Happy- Not just because Abigail just said you can be lovers, but she is willing to leave everyone with you for her and Jack’s sake. She trusts you and you promise to not let them down.

Immediately- You can hear John’s shouts and wondering what the hell is going on. He shouts, “Where you going, Abigail? Where you taking the kid?”

He does not say his kid. When John follows her to your horse- He looks even more confused. Jack looks excited.

You help Abigail and Jack onto one of the horses (with the promise you will return or compensate it) for Hosea before getting onto yours. The whole time Abigail and John argue, and he finally gets fed up.

“Good riddance then.  Though I know you and you will come back eventually but hopefully you do not. Keep that kid for all I care,” He grumbles as he contradicts himself both in voice and looks.

You give Abigail one last look- To turn down your offer and yourself and instead she takes your horse’s reins and begins to lead the way to your new life together.

Watching the first episode of Half Bad again and I saw people discussing how the book was even darker (I've read it, but I don't really remember it). It just kind of blows my mind that Nathan suffers more in the book. I wonder if I was to read it again if it would come off torture porn ish or insensitive, especially since Sally Green is a white woman. I feel like Nathan already doesn't have time to properly deal with the amount of harm he suffers in the show or deal with his trauma, let alone whatever happens in the book.

Like, in just the first episode it's revealed:

His mother is dead. Father is on the run and a terrorist. He never got to really know either of them.

His half-sister blames him for his mother's death. To the point of touture and nearly manslaughter.

He has an agent of the state once a month drill into him that he's a ticking time bomb and cut him without his consent.

His gran loves him at least but clearly seems to have bias against blood witches despite being more open minded. She also seems to favour everyone getting along at home than really disciplining Jessica for antagonizing Nathan. Which is particularly fucked since not only is what Jessica says meant to hurt him deeply, not random taunts, but he has to always tolerate what she does. Which is a lot of discipline for anyone, especially a teenager. Despite him being the youngest it feels very "older sibling". How a caregiver would rather punish you for rising to the bait because it's easier than stopping the younger child from antagonizing you in the first place.

Jessica not only bullies him at home but won't leave him alone elsewhere. Besides the violence she does, even just her crashing his friend's party. WTF, leave him alone for five minutes.

The state is forcing this "good behaivour" onto him as his punishment for being born and the price of them allowing his limited freedom. But it's a ticking time bomb. Even if he'd never retaliated, once he was officially a blood witch, he still would have likely been killed, imprisoned, forced to be a hunter, expelled from the country, or have continued to have been monitored for the rest of his life. That's no future.

Also, the way the state treats him like he's more adult than people his age (which can be seen as a metaphor for him being black). How they expect him not only to deal with the tests, and never act out, but also showing him the memories of those people being murdered. That's something no sixteen year old should see.

Not to mention just the regular traumas and pains that can happen from being a queer black man. From the confident way he baited Annalise's brother with them hooking up it certainly seemed like a move by someone who's confident in their sexuality and knows what they are. So, he's aware he's bi, Elliot isn't an awakening. So he's had to likely deal with regular non-witch racism and homophobia.

He nearly dies, via his sister.

He get's sexually harassed by an older woman possessing his grandmother.

ALL of this in the first fucking episode. We haven't even got to the dog cage yet.

Not the way the writers decided to deliver it, anyway. But to say that Alex was actually forced to participate by either Michael or Maria… Have we even watched the same scene? Don’t get me wrong, I wish I had known it was coming, I wish I could unsee it somehow but wtf, Anon?

Why some of you are acting as if Alex was some fragile little boy with no way to protect himself? News flash, out of the three of them, he was the trained killer there! And like it or not, it’s canon that he always had power over Michael. I fear to know what it had to be like in the RNM fandom when that scene was first aired, if this is how some of you are still acting 4-5 years later.

The reason why I personally hate that writing choice, is because of how unhealthy it was for each and every single one of them, yet it hadn’t been talked about by them later on. They were all in a really bad mental state that night, Maria included! You lot like to forget about the fact that she was losing her mum and learning upsetting things about herself and her family. Michael was the worst of them three at that point and Alex, while being hurt that night, was in fact in the best mental condition, though that doesn’t say much, given how he did let his demons and insecurity do a number on him. It had been shown the morning after, when he was the only one to say that - feeling loved or not - maybe they shouldn’t have done that.

Bug Fables' deep lore is engaging in open warfare with my mental helath i swear to GOD I CAnt figure this tHE FUCK OUT IM GOING INSANE

Context: I'm trying to make a timeline. Bug fables took this personally.

The big question here that got me to break is what the fuck is the deal with Flower Gods? So I was writing an essay of sorts to try and figure it out as I go, then clean it up and post it when I came to a few satisfying conclusions, and maybe make a poll to see what others would prefer.

I have now lost at least a decade of my lifespan, and will be seeking reparations in the court of law. I'll post what I wrote below the cut, just be aware that it's not finished, will not be finished if I have a gun to my head, and jumps places every now and then because that's just how I roll in the drafting stage.

I hope to all the gods above that some of you can find sense where I have failed.

Currently doing timeline shenanigans with Bug Fables. I learned something in the lore that will have a major impact in how that timeline manifests. The problem is that this lore detail isn't exactly straight-forward, and has multiple interpretations. I'd like to see some other thoughts on this matter before I make a decision. The lore in question is regarding the creation of the Flower Gods.

A reminder: There is a secret room in Snakemouth Den that displays information regarding the 3 Flower Gods. Prior to seeing this room, most I think didn't even know there were 3 - only knowing of Venus at the time. The other two are Mars and Pluto. These displays tell us a few things. Some information on the gods themselves: Venus is

Guardian: M-001 "Mars" Age: 361 Status: Stable

Guardian: V-012 "Venus" Age: 358 Status: Stable

Guardian: P-183 "Pluto" Age: 34 Status: Stable

This secret asks a whole bunch of questions and answers exactly none of them.

The first thought I see many people go to is that this, of course, confirms that the Roaches created them. However, there is dialogue from Venus herself stating "Ah, it still feels like it was yesterday when they were scurrying around the land trying to get stuff together!" Which doesn't say much, but sort of implies that she was around while the Roaches were still figuring things out.

But what about those designations, what do they mean? For something like this - and considering they all start with the first letter of the Guardian's name - I think it's, like, a version number.

If they were all created by the Roaches, then… wtf? So with Mars, they got it right on their very first try - congratulations, a fucking GOD is born - but their next Guardian took 12 attempts? What? And then Pluto took 183 attempts. And the time discrepancy is just…. weird. Wtf does this mean? The Roaches started off as the best scientists ever, getting everything correct on their first go, then suddenly dropping the ball off the face of the Earth and getting nothing right? For centuries? And after all of that, they consider the Sapling to be their greatest creation. Not any of the Actual Deities they supposedly made. And then they place two of these gods in… just… entirely different territories. Mars is in the Eastern lands. Lord knows where Pluto is, but not Bugaria, that's for sure. I do find this rather unpalatable.

If they weren't created by the Roaches - they were just studying them, trying to replicate their power - I think that fits some of this better. Especially that above quote by Venus. If she was around before the Roaches developed what they have now - the Roaches being the first bugs to awaken - then did she awaken before even them? If she - and, perhaps, Mars - were the first to awaken, then was the Day of Awakening only around 370 years ago? That would probably be the best case scenario for developing a timeline. It'd be the only True Date that can be nailed down, and make it a lot easier to place other dates around it by comparison.

But still… what's the deal with the version numbers? Perhaps the Guardians do not have true immortality, but ressurrective immortality? That would sort imply that Pluto might in fact be the first, and he's on his 183'd life. It would also mean that Mars would actually be the youngest of the gods. Despite being the oldest current version, he is still only on his First version - no deaths, no resurrections. This would also mean that Pluto died around the time the Roaches vanished. But also - if Pluto died 182 times prior to his current iteration… what the fuck kind of life is this guy living? Is he stuck in a death loop, wtf?

This is honestly just another discrepancy, to me. Lets be as conservative as possible and say that most of Pluto's lives were all around 30 years in length. This is so conservative as to be ridiculous, but let's just ignore that. 183 x 30 = 5490. That's Fucking Old - and I'm gonna say, just as ridiculous. Why, then, would the other two gods only have a few years of an age gap? This feels like a strong point towards the idea that the Roaches created them??? that the designations are version numbers before deployment and not ressurrective iterations???

I want to make a record of ragnarok and percy jackson crossover fic too but one thing continues to befuddle me... HOW THE HELL DO DEMIGODS EVEN WORK THERE? I checked the wiki and 'demigods' don't even get a page about it, they just get a short paragraph under the 'gods' wiki page and their explanation didn't even make any sense! I think I just have to make something up..

I didn't understand shit about demigods in ror verse omfg. I tried to reread the early manga chapters and here's what I learned so far:

Heracles is NOT a demigod. He WAS one. Remember when he was still human and he drank Ambrosia (aka Zeus' blood) in order to protect Thebes? When he drank the Ambrosia, he gained the strength of a god, BUT WAS STILL HUMAN. He was then referred to as a 'demigod' up until he finally ascended to godhood. So in Heracles' case, being a demigod means being a human with the strength of a god.

The Valkyries are a different case. None of them were born human because back in chapter one, Brunhilde states "I met [Lu Bu] on the battlefield" meaning she was at least over 1000 years old and immortal, which implies the other sisters are too. I have no idea if they're goddesses or just some other immortal being, but despite being born immortal, the Valkyries are still considered "demigods"

Not only that, but in the earlier chapters it was revealed that Brunhilde was once turned into a human and that's why she and the Valkyries are so sympathetic to them. The manga has yet to expand on what happened, but I headcanon that maybe in the Valkyries are considered demigods because they're immortal beings with the heart of a human (so basically the opposite of pre-ascension!Heracles)

So far, there have been no indication of any demigods that are actually BORN half-human and half-god like in the pjo verse. There's one other demigod, Siegfried, but it might be awhile since his story is expanded on 😟

SOOOO I decided to make my own shit up and make it impossible for humans to carry godly children in the ror verse. That way, when my fem!Percy gets isekai-ed there, she would be ✨special✨

(But I still wanna know the answer so I'm gonna tag this properly that way any ror fans can come and correct me if I'm wrong. WTF ARE DEMIGODS IN ROR??? HOW ARE THE VALKYRIES DEMIGODS??? HELP US)
